How we choose

Products Recommender started with a simple idea: finding good products after 50 shouldn't be complicated.

Our criteria

• Easy to use. Clear buttons, readable screens, simple instructions. If it needs a long manual, it doesn't make the list.
• Safety and comfort. We favor products that are stable, light and easy to grip.
• Proven quality. We look at brands, materials and reviews from other buyers.
• Good value. In every category we try to include an affordable option that does the job well.

How the site is organized

Products are grouped into three sections: Men, Women and Unisex (useful for anyone). Each one has four categories, with the top three products in each.

Our rating

The 1-to-5 star score is our own rating, written with people over 50 in mind. It is not the store's average review score.
